Help!Īny ideas on how to connect to my Google Calendar with Thunderbird 78? It appears this no longer works with Thunderbird 78. However, when I then try to create a new calendar, choosing "On the network" as I'm supposed to, there are only "iCalendar" and "CalDAV" options, not "Google Calendar". So instead I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the following: I tried unpublishing it to start over, but after every Thunderbird restart the greyed out Google Calendar is still there. Oh well, done now.Īt this point, I just want to get my Google Calendar accessible. PS.Hi, I just got a new machine, moved my profile folder over, and installed the latest Thunderbird 78 before seeing the warnings about waiting. The public calendar I’m trying to sync is the following: …./calendar/ical/mckewdevitt%/public/basic.ics or …/calendar/feeds/mckewdevitt%/public/basic Any ideas? If I use the xml address and the google radio button, I get a recurring login box where I’ve input the shared calendar’s google login and password. When I use New Calendar in Thunderbird and input the shared calendar’s ics address, calendar is shown as created on the left side list but no data is transferred to my calendar. I have tried both the ical and xml addresses.
